Kuopio Airport Renovation

Dear NOK2024 Participant,

Unfortunately we have to inform you on the upcoming extensive runway and taxiway renovation scheduled to take place at Kuopio Airport during the summer of 2024. Due to the maintenance work, all flights to and from Kuopio will be temporarily suspended from June 24 to August 6, 2024.

While this temporary interruption may impact travel plans, we want highlight alternative transportation options available. For your convenience, we recommend utilizing the train connections from Helsinki Airport to Kuopio during this period.

Finnish Railways VR will publish the timetables for the summer 2024 very soon.
